Our Story: In 2018, the Hufford families embarked on a journey to create a place where families and friends could gather, enjoy nature, and create lasting memories. Conveniently situated just outside of Rossville, Hillside Acres offers easy access for those coming from the Greater Lafayette area and beyond. Our peaceful setting provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Last Day of the 2025 Fall season is November 1st.
Seasonal Activities:
Sunflower Trail– Opening our season the end of August with a 2.5-acre sunflower trail! Enjoy two weeks (depending on weather) of this bright sunflower field.
Fall Activities – Fun play areas for kids and adults including Corn Bins, and two 70ft slides. Our family activities have expanded out of Timber Town now!
Corn Maze– Wander through our corn maze!
Pumpkin Patch- Pick several different kinds of pumpkins and gourds from our patch for your fall décor. We also sell corn stalk bundles, ornamental corn, & straw bales.
Apples– We currently have 15 different varieties of apple trees growing on the farm such as: Cortland, Blondee, Ginger Gold, Pixie Crunch, Gold Rush, Gala, Mutsu, Fuji, Evercrisp, Golden Delicious, McIntosh, & Honeycrisp. We also offer other varieties of fresh apples in the market from local Indiana orchards such as Jonathon, Zestar, Ludacrisp & Ida Red.
