Apples
It doesn’t take much time to gather a bag of apples for enjoying fresh or for making delicious applesauce. Supermarket apples can’t compare to the flavor of a ripe, freshly picked apple straight from the tree. We appreciate the opportunity to be your local source for apples.
U-Pick Apple Varieties we have are: McIntosh, Gala, Mutsu, Blondee, Fuji, & Cortland. Each variety is ready at different times in the season so follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or give us a call to see what is available for U-Pick. Our apple season starts the end of August – October.
U-PICK APPLES: Closed for 2025 season

No admission fee to pick apples. Just choose from a 1/2 peck, peck, or 1/2 bushel bag to purchase in the market.
U-Pick Bag Pricing
- 1/2 Peck Bag – $8.00
- Peck Bag – $16.00
- 1/2 Bushel – $25.00
Please do not climb the trees for your safety and the health of the trees. We provide apple pickers to reach that perfect apple just out of reach. If you drop apples while picking, they are still good to keep. Our policy is if you pick it, you keep it.
Apple Tips:
Storage of Apples: To keep your apples fresh and crisp, store in the refrigerator with moisture (damp paper towel or spritz with water). Remember to wash your apples right before eating.
Summer apples are softer and more mild. Fall apples are stronger in flavor, more firm, and store well until winter. Winter apples store the best, have thicker skins, and stronger flavor.
Good choices for applesauce: Cortland, or McIntosh. Or a sweet/tart mixed variety of your preference.
Apple Cider info: We press our own cider and use a mix of sweet & tart apples to get the best taste. Fresh cider is ready around the middle of September depending on our apple crop for the year.

Pumpkins

We grow around 8-acres of pumpkins and gourds for you and your family to pick or buy freshly harvested ones up beside our market. Each year, we plant approximately 25-30 different varieties along with ornamental corn and small gourds. Some of our favorite varieties of pumpkins are Blue Dolls, Snowballs, Black Kats, and Cinderella’s Carriage pumpkins.
All pumpkins, whether picked at the market or in the patch, are sold individually based on size. Be sure to check the size chart available when you leave the pumpkin patch and in front of the market to help you choose. Prices range from $0.75 to $20.
Please note that general admission does not include pumpkins. If you have any questions about sizes, feel free to ask our staff for assistance.
